
Senior Manager Operations Strategy and Planning

- To support and drive Group/ Regional projects in consultation with management and stakeholders.
- Liaison to explain, support, consolidate analysis of data and implementation support followed by evaluations of options and implementation for group projects
- Execute strategic plans to achieve business goals and objectives.
- Conduct market analysis and competitive benchmarking to inform strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with Operations team and senior management to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Provide data driven insights for decision making
- Lead and manage strategic Operations projects
- Good governance on project roll-out within Operations and Tech.
- Review and lead periodic capacity planning across the teams.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met and provide regular updates on project status and outcomes.
- Regularly track KPIs to ensure Group projects / TOM delivers value.
- Develop / update procedures or template, where required to ensure consistency in practice of Technology & Operations governance related activities.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and Cost to drive operational excellence. Identify areas of concerns and opportunities for onward discussion
- Monitor and tracking overall efficiency, vendor contract renewal, ACR / ROI and other key matters.
- Continuous improvement: identify opportunities for enhancing governance processes and recommend improvements to reduce risk exposure and enhance operational efficiency.
- Support management/ stakeholders’ update / presentations on Technology & Operations related matters.
- Review Operations and Technology employee engagement actions.
- Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing across the organization.
- Act as centralized team to collaborate on key initiatives as assigned and review Ops training needs and capability.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategy and operations within the insurance or Takaful industry (preferred).
- Proven track record of leading strategic initiatives and managing complex projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively, minimum supervision in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
