In this role, you will support the Head of Finance in managing day-to-day financial operations, reporting accuracy, statutory compliance, and continuous process improvements. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong accounting expertise and a passion for financial transformation.🛠️ Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Operations & ReportingOversee core accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), cash flow, and taxationReview and approve journal entries, including deferred taxation, ensuring compliance with accounting standardsPrepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsPerform balance sheet and P&L reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepanciesAssist in budget preparation, forecasting, and strategic cash flow projectionsMonth-End Closing & Audit CoordinationManage and coordinate month-end and year-end closing activitiesLiaise with internal and external auditors, ensuring a smooth audit processAddress queries from banks, tax consultants, and statutory bodiesCompliance & Process ImprovementEnsure full compliance with MFRS, tax regulations, and other financial legislationSupport process re-engineering, automation, and implementation of accounting systemsCollaborate with IT and internal teams to optimize controls and reporting efficiencyAssist with new business initiatives, regulatory changes, and ERP improvementsTeam & Stakeholder ManagementReview and manage staff travel and expense claims for accuracy and policy complianceSupport team growth and performance improvement initiativesProvide financial insights and analysis to management for strategic decision-makingAssist in fund sourcing and engagement with banks and financial institutions📚 RequirementsQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldProfessional certifications such as ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent are requiredChartered Accountant (CA) status is highly preferredExperienceAt least 5 years of experience in finance or accounting rolesStrong exposure to financial reporting, audits, tax planning, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)Experience in process improvement or finance transformation projects is an added advantageSkills & AttributesSolid knowledge of MFRS and local financial regulationsAnalytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilitiesHigh attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesEffective team player with strong stakeholder management and presentation skills🎁 What We OfferCompetitive salary with career advancement opportunitiesDynamic, supportive work culture in a strategic central locationExposure to impactful financial projects and digital transformationOpportunity to work closely with leadership on strategic financial mattersSub Specialization : Finance;Finance Managers, Controllers & Directors;Others
