About the job Assistant Finance ManagerResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting1. Take part in tender preparation in reviewing budget, staffing and work plans to guarantee fees2. Plan costs and project cash flows, and communicate with stakeholders for monitoring and controlling3. Prepare annual budgets (plan) and quarterly forecast4. Timely and accurate monthly/quarterly/annual financial and management reporting in compliance with all relevant accounting standards, corporate guidelines and other regulatory and legal requirements5. Prepare annual reports including notes to the financial statements6. To prepare & present the project papers for evaluations to banks, investors, regulatory bodies and othersCost accounting & controlling1. Track actual costs including manpower effort, equipment usage, procured resources2. Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and compliance with regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting3. Formulate and enforce continuous improvement on financial and operations internal controls, policies and procedures identify accounting problems, research possible solutions and forms conclusions to be presented to superiorAd-hocSupport ad-hoc assignment related to all areas of accounting and financeEducation & Qualifications1. At least 4 years of relevant experience within external audit/financial accounting/reporting capacity2. Experience in Agricultures industry is an advantage3. Minimum bachelor's degree in finance or accounting4. Professional qualification from a recognised body (ACCA/CIMA/CA/CPA) is highly preferred.5. Solid accounting/tax technical background including consolidation and reporting6. Proficient in accounting standards, Malaysia Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and Familiar with the requirements and guidelines of Bursa Malaysia and other authorities7. Understand the requirement for preparation of announcement to the relevant stock exchange8.Deadline driven
