- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in computer hardware, system administration and network security within financial institutions, including banks and non-bank entities such as credit, leasing, factoring or loan companies.
- Experience in database management system and reporting will be added advantage.
- Experience with backup and disaster recovery planning and implementation.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to converse in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
- Manage and supervise the technical support tasks of all company laptops, users and business application programs.
- Manage and review the inventory and maintenance of IT assets including both hardware & software components.
- Ensure compliance with IT security standards through regular assessments and reporting.
- Manage and review user access rights to systems, ensuring proper authorization protocols are followed.
- Ensure that company data backup and restoration processes are fully implemented and functioning effectively.
- Develop, review, and update the IT backup and recovery plan to support business continuity.
- Manage and review IT Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and ensuring alignment with compliance and operational requirements.
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of new IT system implementations.
- Maintain IT documentation, including asset inventories, software licenses, and IT policies.
- Administer user accounts and enforce regular password updates to maintain system security.
