- To assist Manager (Sustainability) in managing day to day activities onsite, in arranging manpower and coordinating activities related to sustainability initiatives aligning to the Company's Sustainability Policy & Guidelines, Renewable Energy Certification (REC), Hydropower Sustainability Standards (HSS), and other relevant standards for HEPs.
- To plan, coordinate, monitor and report sustainability initiatives for REC & HSS, and organize the work effectively.
- Responsible for liaising with internal stakeholders; HEP Operation & Maintenance, Support Functions & Corporate Departments, i.e., HSSE, R&D and Sustainability to address plant gaps and monitor the mitigation measures implementation.
- To follow through relevant key stakeholders in executing implementation of HEP sustainability initiatives with minimal interruption impact at optimal cost saving.
- To ensure plant equipment and system processes fully comply with statutory regulation and legislation requirements, i.e., certificate of fitness renewal, relevant license and permit from DOSH, EIU, BOMBA and DOE.
- To assist the Manager in ensuring all policies, instruction and implementation of works related to environmental, safety and health are observed in all activities; to control and maintain the ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001, ISO 45000, and others as deemed fit.
- Assist Manager in preparation of yearly budget, and to perform procuring process in executing projects timely, with quality and within budget.
- Assist station/s with training and development of relevant personnel in relation with ESG / HSS or relevant standards compliances.
- To carry out any other duties as required by the Company from time to time.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering / Environment Discipline or Equivalent.
- Minimum five (5) years working experience in relevant fields.
- Good knowledge of ESG policies and processes.
- Have knowledge and understanding of HSS and REC Standards.
- Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
- Good writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Accredited IHA Assessor is an added advantage.
- Experience in hydropower industry is an advantage.
- Capable of communication with various stakeholders.
- Experienced in Contract Management.
- Ability to read and write English and Bahasa Malaysia, follow oral/written instructions.
- Report Writing.

- Demonstrates a deep understanding of the terms and conditions of the contract, ensuring the deliverables by supplier, contractor fulfill the requirements of the contract.
