senior layout and piping engineer (epcc - oil & gas)

• Develop and implement standards and concepts to meet job requirements.
• Plan pipe routing and equipment layout studies.
• Carry out engineering design tasks including plot plans, key plans, underground and aboveground piping arrangements, construction isometrics, pipe support drawings, and field fabrication details.
• Review various information drawings and process information for hydraulic delta-p calculations.
• Evaluate internal design check (IDC) documents across all disciplines.
• Coordinate with other disciplines for layout and piping design coordination.
• Create piping engineering schedules.
• Collaborate with clients and vendors on technical issues.
• Manage project planning, scheduling, and quality control to ensure project objectives are met within set timelines and budgets.
• Support construction and commissioning activities in the field.

• Must have a Mechanical or Material Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Familiarity with international codes and standards such as ASME31.3, ASME, API, PTS, SHELL DEP, JIP 33, etc., is required.
• Strong knowledge in creating engineering specifications and job instructions for piping designs, materials, insulation, painting, etc.
• Expertise in Plant Layout Planning and Detailed Piping Design considering Construction, Process Flow Scheme, Machinery Operation, etc.
• Experience in coordinating interdisciplinary work for layout and piping design.
• Ability to conduct site surveys for gathering necessary information or verifying existing plant documentation.
• Previous involvement in greenfield, brownfield, and plant modification projects is preferred.
• Team player with excellent interpersonal, communication, and writing skills.
• Proficiency in software like CAESAR II and AUTOCAD is necessary, and experience with 3D CAD software such as S3D, E3D, CADWorx, AutoCAD3D would be advantageous.
• Proficient in using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
• Strong command of spoken and written English.
• Senior applicants should have a proven track record as a piping lead engineer.
