Operation Executive (Custom Forwarding)

• Responsible to get goods cleared through customs formalities and declaration
• Prepare and ensure all necessary documents in place and filled before the cargo arrives in port.
• To input/ update data in the computer systems
• Coordinate with customer service team for shipment arrangement
• Assist to deal with shippers/ consignees’ requirements
• Assist to handle invoices with clients and finance department
• Update shipment status & required information to customers
• Assist to prepare documents (Bill of Lading/HAWB / invoice, etc)
• Send pre-alert to destination agent & follow up destination clearance/delivery status
• Follow up D/O from agent/vendor
• Adhere to all SOPs and compliance procedures
• To perform any other tasks as and when required

• Hands-on experience and familiar with customs declaration and formalities in Malaysia.
• Basic Knowledge On HS Codes
• Possess at least 1 year of relevant experience
• Ability in dealing with Customs
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Proactive, meticulous, team player, initiative with positive work attitude
• Able to multi-task, prioritise and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
