- Assist in validating SOX control requirements with relevant stakeholders
- Maintain the SOX control framework requirements and ensure changes are captured and documented appropriately
- Perform controls review and testing to assess compliance with SOX Control framework
- Recommend remediation plans for deficiencies identified and follow through issues remediation/resolution
- Participate in continuous improvement projects involving new processes and systems
- Support in providing periodic status reporting of the projects to relevant stakeholders
- Prepare internal/external reports as necessary
- Perform other ad hoc duties as requested
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance or equivalent with professional certification (e.g. ACCA, CPA, CIA)
- Minimum of four years' audit and risk advisory experience
- Knowledgeable with current industry standards such as COSO
- Excellent command of English and proficiency in Malay [a plus]
- Experience with analysing and identifying the strengths and weaknesses of options
- Ability to exercise critical thinking, problem solving, and judgement skills
- Detail oriented nature
