Job SummaryResponsible in providing technical support, quotation, underwriting and complying with company/group guidelinesKey ResponsibilitiesTechnical Underwriting

To assist the Corporate Business Department (“CBD“) Technical team to assess and underwrite new offers mainly for Property and Engineering Lines of Business (“LoB“).
To underwrite and review all property renewals and new businesses using the rating tools provided by Allianz and to monitor rate adequacy and rate change across the operational accounts.
To calculate retention and accumulation of risk based on the Company’s capacity and underwriting authority grid.
To work closely with the Supervisor(s) on all referrals. To undertake all necessary preparatory work as guided and directed.
To assist the technical team to provide quotations and technical support to marketers on other classes / LoB as and when required.

Portfolio ManagementTo assist the Supervisor(s) in all initiatives to improve the profitability of the Property and Engineering portfolio.Account Management and Other Duties

To liaise / visit agent / broker / client together with the marketers on renewals / technical matters/ enquiries as and when deemed necessary.
To manage the e-filing system and to ensure that the policy documents are kept systematically.
To obtain the necessary approval(s) in accordance with the Company / group guidelines.
Any other duties as and when required by the corporate business department.

Key Requirements

Candidate must possess at least Bachelor ‘s Degree, Professional Degree in any discipline
At least 2 years of working experience in similar role
Experience in Property and Engineering Underwriting
Result-driven, able to achieve the target assigned, and able to work independently
Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and maintain relationships with intermediaries, and an effective team player.
Well verse in both verbal and written communication skill
Familiar with the use of ChatGPT for process simplification
