About the opportunityAbout the Role:We are looking for a Senior Manager, Supply Chain to be based in Bangsar South. This role will be reporting to Lead, Supply Chain in the QCommerce Department. The department generally is responsible for ensuring a strong supply chain is maintained for our Dark Stores which includes Demand/Supply Planning, Inventory Management, Expiry Management, DC Management, Supplier Management and not forgetting Cost Efficiency as well.Responsibilities:Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Manage contracted 3PL for warehousing & logistics and drive strong relationships with 3PL & continuous improvement of 3PL KPIs
Manage store/supplier inquiries on inbound/outbound allowing smooth supply chain
Ensure Inventory accuracy at stock holding at 3PL is at its optimum at all time
Strategize long-term plans for Demand Planning managing inventory & accurate demand forecasting related categories
Develop the demand forecast for the business unit, based on statistical forecast and sales & marketing activities (promotions, phase in/phase out, new launches, discontinuation). Challenge the forecast as needed
Analyze and highlight business risks and opportunities to stakeholders and jointly propose appropriate mitigation plans
Development/Improvement of current processes from Supplier - Distribution Center - Store to allow continuous improvement. To drive also a strong relationship with suppliers while driving continuous improvement of our KPIs to suppliers
Look for cost savings opportunities at all times to ensure a healthy P&L, contributing to the improvement of costs
Collaboratively working with the Supply Chain Lead at all times driving projects to completion on time in full whilst managing team members to ensure strong KPIs are achieved

People Development:

Grow talent in ensuring managed team members are strong in both external and internal management (Talent Growth)
Proactively drive discussions with stakeholders & Supply Chain Lead on cost-saving initiatives (Stakeholder Management)
Leading forecast discussions with suppliers to allow stable supply to Dark Stores (Strategic Planning)

What you need to be successful

At least 6-8 years of work-related experience in managing 3PL / from a 3PL
Strong leadership skills and experience leading a team
Experience with FMCG/grocery retailers is a plus
Good communication and presentation skills
Experience in supply chain planning, implementation, and end-to-end supply chain management(e.g., scheduling, warehousing, fulfillment, reverse logistics)
Experience managing collaborative planning, forecasting and replenishment processes with retailers (managing regional sell-in, sell-through, and sell-out demand forecasting and inventory allocation throughout the product life cycle)
