- Develop and execute business plans and strategies to meet company objectives.
- Direct and oversee the financial and budgetary activities of the organization to support operations, optimize investments, and enhance efficiency.
- Evaluate financial reports and statements from various divisions, ensuring adherence to accounting and financial policies, as well as statutory and corporate regulations.
- Manage cash flow, credit control, and taxation, ensuring expenses align with budgetary constraints.
- Conduct costing, budgeting, and financial planning activities.
- Collaborate with auditors, tax consultants, bankers, and regulatory bodies.
- Lead finance, accounting, IT, and taxation functions across multiple manufacturing companies within the group.
- Provide regular and ad hoc management information, business support, and financial advisory services to all divisions within the group.
- Prepare and present reports to management and the Board of Directors.
- Develop and oversee the company's budget, ensuring financial targets are achieved.
- MBA or equivalent qualification required.
- Minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience.
- Preferably Manager or Senior Manager with specialization in Finance, Corporate Finance, Investment, or Merchant Banking.
- Proficient in investment analysis, investment proposal preparation, and mergers and acquisitions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Chinese.
- Resourceful, analytical, with strong communication, presentation, and writing abilities in both English and Mandarin.
- Demonstrated business acumen and proficiency in financial modeling.
