JOB PURPOSE & OVERVIEW Responsible for managing and executing regional projects, overseeing performance metrics, maintaining effective communication between regional offices and central management, and ensuring alignment with organisational objectives. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Project Coordination Coordinate the implementation of regional project activities by managing the execution of assigned tasks, monitoring progress against timelines, and engaging directly with responsible officers to ensure all deliverables are completed within scope, schedule, and quality expectations. Resolve execution-level project bottlenecks by identifying operational challenges early, engaging relevant internal stakeholders for input, and proposing viable solutions to the Head of Unit to ensure uninterrupted project delivery and alignment with organisational priorities. Financial and Resource Monitoring Monitor and maintain regional budget utilisation records by updating financial trackers, reviewing actual vs. forecasted expenditures, and flagging anomalies or overspending to ensure accurate budget control and compliance with financial procedures. Develop periodic budget performance reports by analysing spending patterns, evaluating resource efficiency, and preparing data summaries that enable the Head of Unit and Finance to make informed decisions on future allocation and optimisation efforts. Operational Performance Tracking Compile and evaluate regional performance indicators by gathering data from multiple regional units, verifying accuracy, and assessing results against agreed KPIs to track operational effectiveness and service outcomes. Drive follow-through on performance gaps by coordinating with regional teams to implement action plans, ensuring that remedial steps align with organisational benchmarks and improve overall operational standards. Strategic Communication Disseminate organisational policies and operational guidelines by communicating updates clearly to all regional counterparts and ensuring understanding through briefings, written communications, and documentation to support consistent application of procedures. Facilitate effective communication across regional offices by managing structured feedback loops, addressing operational queries, and providing timely clarification to ensure alignment with central directives and reduce miscommunication. Stakeholder Engagement Build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders by conducting regular engagements, documenting follow-ups, and supporting the execution of joint initiatives that strengthen regional programme delivery. Represent the unit in operational stakeholder engagements by presenting updates, raising regional concerns, and coordinating responses in line with department priorities to ensure productive partnerships and alignment with organisational goals. QUALIFICATION & RELEVANT EXPERIENCE Educational Qualification Bachelor's degree or higher in the field of Business Administration, Industrial Relations or any related fields.
