We are looking for an RTR Accountant (Japanese speaker) to support general ledger and financial reporting processes within the life sciences industry. This role requires fluency in Japanese and a strong understanding of accounting operations to ensure accurate financial records and compliance.**3. Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform general ledger accounting, ensuring accurate and timely financial entries.
- Prepare and analyse financial reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Handle month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations and adjustments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting discrepancies and issues.
- Maintain compliance with internal controls and company policies.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
- Communicate effectively in Japanese to assist with regional financial operations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in financial reporting and operations.
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Fluency in both Japanese and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools.
- Knowledge of international accounting standards and local regulations.
- An analytical mindset with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
