Accountant to join our team. This role will be based in Malaysia and will operate on a
remote, sole contributor basis.The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accountant to manage the full
spectrum of our accounting operations in five key regions: Malaysia, Singapore, UAE, UK,
and the US. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, proactive individual with strong selfinitiative who can work independently and collaborate with our team as needed.Key Responsibilities
- Financial Management: Manage daily accounting operations for our entities across
- Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including monthly management
- Compliance & Coordination: Coordinate with local external company secretaries
- Reconciliation: Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure accurate and timely
receivable, and intercompany transactions.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for all financerelated matters in the assigned regions, effectively communicating with internal
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is a plus.
- Proven experience in handling a full set of accounts for multiple entities in different
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- High level of self-initiative and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Experience with various accounting software and tools is an advantage.
