
Assistant Financial Accountant - SSC

- Maintain weekly revenue reconciliations for each region to support invoicing processing.
- Prepare journals for revenue accruals, deferrals, and adjustments
- Support monthly/quarterly/annual close activities including revenue recognition checks.
- Assist in the preparation of intercompany revenue matching and reconciliation.
- Support audits by preparing revenue and Accounts Receivable schedules.
- Work with regional sales teams, billing and contracts processing teams and credit control to resolve billing issues.
- Provide support to regional finance teams during budgeting and forecasting cycles.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with appropriate revenue recognition standards.
- Preparation of monthly calculation of commissions.
- Support in the enforcement of company revenue recognition policies, and contribute to process improvement.
- Assist in ad hoc financial analysis relating to pricing, customer contracts or product line.
- Work across departmental teams dealing with Sales, Legal, Customer Success, Contracts Processing and Billing teams.
- To carry-out any other ad-hoc task given by Line Manager.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- Part qualified or working towards qualification (ACA, CPA or ACCA) or equivalent certification.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles particularly in Accounts Receivable and revenue recognition.
- Prior experience supporting mulit-regional or intercompany transactions.
- Intermediate to advance Microsoft Excel skills (VLookup, pivot tables, basic formulas).
- Detail-oriented mindset with a desire to learn.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- MUST be flexible to work on staggered hours to support UK & US timing
- Flexible to work when required during Malaysian public holidays in which replacement holidays will be provided.
