The Salesforce DevOps Engineer will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing the Salesforce platform for a leading retail organization. This position is based in Kuala Lumpur and focuses on delivering seamless technical solutions and enhancements within the Technology department.

Manage GIT merges and resolve conflicts involving Salesforce metadata in SFDX source format, maintaining consistency across development environments
Operate within a globally distributed DevOps team, ensuring effective change management and cross-team alignment
Identify and document Salesforce metadata changes related to user stories, committing them to the repository for consistent version control
Implement and maintain integration scenarios for smooth and reliable system interoperability
Conduct thorough technical testing on applications and enhancements to guarantee quality, performance, and adherence to specifications
Oversee all platform aspects-including Marketing, Sales, Service, core functionalities, and integrations-ensuring cohesive solution delivery
Gather, analyze, and develop new requirements to address evolving business needs, delivering end-to-end solutions
Proactively track platform health by monitoring exceptions and managing technical debt to maintain peak performance

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or an equivalent qualification
Min. 5 years of experience as a Salesforce DevOps Engineer, Salesforce Consultant, or Software Developer specializing in Salesforce
Min. of 3 years working with Sales and Service Cloud. Certifications are a plus but not essential
Strong knowledge of Apex, SQL, JavaScript, Lightning Web Components, HTML5, CSS3, REST, and SOAP
Skilled in both declarative and programmatic customization within Salesforce platforms
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and related tools
Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts, particularly in Salesforce environments, or a willingness to acquire this expertise
