Job Description:Job Description: * Drive technology strategy including identifying new technology, pilot implementation and replication of the technology to improve well productivity and production efficiency. Contribute to implementing best practices and learning from experiences within the OPU.
  • Lead the implementation of prudent Reservoir Management Plan (RMP) and Reservoir Well Facilities Management (RWFM) operationalization and evaluate the effectiveness of existing Reservoir Management Plan (RMP). Ensure compliance of surveillance activities to achieve optimum hydrocarbon production, reserves exploitation and growth in line with PCSB current and future business requirement.
  • Drive the production enhancement (PE) activities and idle well reactivation (IWR) programs to unlock the Lock in Potential (LIP) from Effective Idle (El) wells, workover proposal preparation to ensure the campaign can be executed at optimum cost and in compliance with HSE requirement.
  • Lead Full Field Reviews (FFR) study and RMP revision requirement for producing fields in identifying new opportunities to maximize production and reserves recovery in order to ensure business sustenance, decision making and maximizing value.
  • Provide technical assurance, guidance and solutions in the area of specialization for trouble shooting, problem diagnostics, technical audits & benchmarking, project risk assessment at the OPU level.
  • Participate in the development / review / enhancement of technical capability development tools and conduct training in the area of specialization. Undertake technical & leadership coaching and support succession planning.
  • Network with Internal as well as external technical experts at national level for continuous technical development and advancement in the area of specialization.
  • Seek and introduce best practices / technology / innovative ideas and work processes in the area of specialization at the OPU level. Participate in the Community of Practices (CoP) and Improvement Working Group (IWG).
Qualification:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum Engineering or any relevant engineering discipline
Requirement:
  • Minimum 10 years of working experience in Upstream oil & gas industry
  • Minimum 7 years Petroleum Engineering or Reservoir Engineering related work
  • Achieved Staff level competency in designated sub discipline
