Role Purpose The Business Analyst Channel Business plays a key role in driving data-informed decision-making and strategic planning across the organization's channel operations. This role is responsible for analyzing sales performance, customer trends, and channel effectiveness to identify growth opportunities and improve partner engagement. Working closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product, the analyst delivers actionable insights, forecasts, and recommendations that optimize channel strategies and support business objectives. How You'll Make an Impact Financial Planning & Analysis Acting as a Finance Business Partner (go-to-person) to provides financial guidance and support to business units, to achieve business goals through financial analysis, planning, and strategic recommendations. Developing forecasts, budgets, long term plans and review of P&L performance. Monitoring financial performance and store / channel profitability, identifying trends, outlining risks and opportunities, and recommending actions to improve business results. Assisting in month end closing activities, P&L reporting and communication to Business Units. Financial Modelling and Investment Appraisal Collaborating with cross functional business unit to understand their needs and proposal. Review investment feasibility by preparing Financial Modelling by analyzing financial information, performing sensitivity analysis and evaluating key indicators (e.g. IRR, payback period etc) on capex investment / business proposals. Prepare financial papers and presentations on analysis and modelling performed for governance and board meeting. Perform post investment review to provide insights on key learnings and opportunities Others Manage junior business analyst by providing coaching and development, delegation and task management, performance monitoring and feedback; to ensure analytical review and timely support to Business Unit are in place. Responding to ad-hoc requests from the Group, Local Business, and auditors in a timely manner. What You&aposll Bring to The Job At least 3 years experiences in financial analysis and business partnering. Business Analytic / Finance / Accounting degree / CIMA / ACCA /CPA or equivalent. Possess strong planning, organizing, communication and influencing skills. Serious commitment to responsibilities with the ability to work under pressure. Good communication, report writing, mentoring skills and strong analytical skills. Self-motivated, good team leader and good team player. Retail Industry and PowerBI software experience would be an added advantage. Show more Show less
