We have truly flexible working and are proud to have an inclusive, collaborative work environment. Role Purpose Meeting sales quotas by winning new logo and cross sell opportunities. The successful candidate will work remotely and occasionally be required to travel. This role is part of the global sales team and reports directly to the Global Head of Sales (based in Australia). Key Accountabilities Take responsibility for delivering your annual sales quota and monthly milestones. Develop and execute a documented plan to deliver these key accountabilities. Develop and optimise a pipeline of new and cross sale opportunities ensuring adequate coverage to achieve quota and milestones. Conduct prospecting activity and seek referrals and introductions, and partner with marketing and customer success to align on campaign, event and activity objectives and outcomes. Promote our portfolio of solutions to new and existing customers in line with the Company strategy. Utilise our systems and processes to enable a data driven approach to your role. Lead prospects and customers through the buyer's journey, facilitating Discovery, Demonstrations, Pricing & Terms, and Contract Generation stages. Prepare and present materials to enhance each stage, and document prospect/customer objectives and insights in Salesforce. Conduct virtual and in-person meetings (including, events and conferences), this may include domestic and international travel. Accurately reflect pipeline management in Salesforce and gong.io., and ensure all necessary sales documentation is completed promptly and accurately in order that sales are processed smoothly through to Implementations. Enable continuous improvement aligned with our values and strategic objectives. Collaborate with teams including Customer Success, Support, Professional Services, Finance and Marketing where necessary to retain or resell customers, increase customer advocacy, or enable Company objectives. Continuously develop knowledge (yours, and others as requested) of our solutions, and an understanding of competitors' offerings. Build and maintain strong relationships with the Leadership team, Marketing and other teams, including sharing knowledge and feedback from clients in a positive and constructive manner. Working within the Education Horizons Information Security Management System and Policies Live, display and promote Our Values. Experience and Qualifications SaaS Sales experience (3+ years) Proven track sales record Familiarity with EdTech, knowledge of education and K-12 schools (Desirable) Exposure to international/regional markets (Desirable) Skills and Personal attributes Superior communicator and strong relationship builder. Strong business acumen and ability to amplify and analyse client insights and respond accordingly. Effective planning and time management skills; can effectively prioritise workload. Proactive problem solver, with high level of attention to detail and accuracy Effective and active listening skills.
