Job DescriptionStaff SAP FI/Tax Consultant is a key role within the Renesas global IT organization, supporting Finance and Tax teams with SAP, OneSource, and related financial applications. This global position collaborates closely with other SAP FI Analysts and business users to enable smooth system operations, process improvements, and project implementations. The role involves gathering business requirements, designing solutions, performing SAP configurations, documenting functional specifications, and ensuring successful testing and rollout of changes. It also plays a crucial part in the ongoing SAP S/4HANA Greenfield implementation and in enabling future-ready tax automation through OneSource.Key responsibilities

Execute project activities related to OneSource Tax and Finance module.
Participate in end-to-end solution delivery, including requirement gathering, functional design, system configuration, testing, and deployment.
Provide day-to-day support for incidents and issues related to SAP FI modules in the ECC environment.
Work closely with business users to enhance efficiency in tax reporting through automation.
Develop functional documentation including functional specifications, configuration, test scripts, user manuals.
Act as a liaison between Finance, Tax, and technical teams to ensure effective solution adoption and issue resolution.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, or any related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP FICO, with strong hands-on experience in implementation or support.
Familiarity with OneSource or similar tax engines is a plus but not required - full training will be offered.
Strong domain expertise in SAP FI sub-modules: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable.
Familiarity with integration between FI and MM, SD.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Proactive, collaborative, and capable of working independently in a global environment.
A fast learner with an interest in developing tax system expertise.
