  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing for monthly, bi-weekly, or weekly cycles, as applicable.
  • Validate employee records, time attendance, overtime, allowances, and deductions in the payroll system.
  • Ensure full compliance with statutory regulations (EPF, SOCSO, PCB, HRDF, income tax, and other country-specific laws where applicable).
  • Handle payroll activities for new hires, resignations, contract staff, and final settlements.
  • Maintain and update payroll systems with employee information, salary adjustments, and benefits.
  • Generate accurate payroll reports for HR, Finance, and management purposes.
  • Prepare and submit statutory contributions and tax filings within required deadlines.
  • Ensure payroll processes align with company policies, audit requirements, and labor laws.
  • Support internal and external payroll audits.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to employee queries regarding payslips, deductions, and benefits.
  • Provide guidance to employees on statutory contributions, income tax matters, and payroll-related policies.
  • Undertake any other payroll or HR-related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
  • Minimum Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in payroll operations, preferably in an MNC or large-scale workforce environment.
  • Proficient in using payroll systems with strong knowledge of payroll processes.
  • Solid understanding of local labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management abilities.
  • High level of confidentiality, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for payroll reconciliation and reporting.
  • In-depth knowledge of statutory requirements including EPF, SOCSO, HRDF, and PCB.
