To complement our team, we are looking for a customer- and teamoriented individual for our division Plasma Control Technologies at the Penang site as aSenior Quality TechnicianFor over 75 years, we have been following our curiosity. Our developments make an important contribution to safer, more efficient and more sustainable production, mobility and communication.In the Plasma Control Technologies (PCT) division, we manufacture specialized components that are required for the precise control of plasma processes and are used in the production of memory chips or touch screens for sensors, smartphones or tablets.What You Will DoManage supplier quality performance by conducting audits, leading MRB activities, and resolving non-conformance issues through RCCA and 8D methodologies.Drive supplier development by creating scorecards, performing follow-up audits, and delivering training on critical processes like FAIR and POP.Ensure compliance and documentation accuracy by maintaining SAP inspection plans, Q-masks, and part records (ZMM02).Support new supplier qualification per Comet guidelines and serve as the primary point of contact for supplier-related corrective actions.Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Purchasing, and Engineering to align quality standards and mitigate supply chain risks.What You Bring3-5 years of experience in supplier quality management, preferably in a manufacturing or electronics environment.Strong technical knowledge of root cause analysis (RCCA/8D), copy-exact principles, and quality management systems.Proficiency in SAP (inspection plans, Q-masks) and data analysis tools (Minitab/JMP is a plus).Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to train suppliers and lead cross-functional teams.Detail-oriented and proactive mindset with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement.Why Join Us?Impact supply chain excellence by working with global suppliers and ensuring top-tier quality standards.Develop expertise in SAP and advanced quality tools within a dynamic manufacturing environment.Grow your career through leadership opportunities in quality management or supply chain roles.Collaborate with industry leaders and contribute to Comet's reputation for quality and reliability.Why join us?
