About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled System Analyst specializing in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) systems to support the design, implementation, and maintenance of AML technology solutions. This role involves close collaboration with compliance, technology, and business stakeholders to ensure systems meet regulatory requirements and support the organization's financial crime prevention objectives. Key Responsibilities Act as subject matter expert (SME) for AML systems, including transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and customer due diligence platforms. Work closely with compliance teams to understand regulatory requirements (e.g., BNM, MAS, FATF, AMLA) and translate them into technical specifications. Gather, analyze, and document system requirements, workflows, and use cases. Partner with vendors, developers, and IT teams to implement AML system enhancements, upgrades, and integrations. Perform system testing (functional, UAT, regression) to ensure AML solutions meet business and compliance needs. Monitor and resolve system issues, ensuring timely escalation and root cause analysis. Support data mapping, data quality checks, and reporting related to suspicious transaction monitoring. Provide end-user training, system documentation, and ongoing technical support. Stay updated on AML trends, emerging risks, and regulatory changes impacting system requirements. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or related field. Proven experience as a System Analyst, preferably with exposure to AML or compliance systems. Hands-on experience with AML software platforms (e.g., Actimize, SAS AML, FICO TONBELLER, Oracle Mantas, Temenos, or equivalent). Knowledge of transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and KYC/CDD processes . Strong understanding of banking operations, financial regulations, and AML compliance requirements .
