Job Description:POSITION SUMMARY:To supervise and perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft in accordance with regulatory requirements, company procedures, and safety standards. The Supervisor B1/C will hold relevant licenses and be responsible for releasing aircraft to service under B1 (mechanical systems) and/or Category C (base maintenance certification).RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Supervise maintenance tasks performed on aircraft to ensure safety, quality, and compliance.
  • Perform and certify maintenance under B1 (airframe, engine, electrical) and/or C (base maintenance release) categories.
  • Plan and coordinate daily maintenance activities with the team and liaise with planning and engineering departments.
  • Conduct inspections and audits of maintenance tasks and documentation.
  • Ensure correct use of tooling and equipment and report any discrepancies.
  • Train, guide, and mentor junior engineers and technicians.
  • Review and sign off maintenance documentation in accordance with CAAM Part 145 standards.
  • Report any significant defects, delays, or incidents to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and enforce compliance with EHS regulations.
LIMIT OF AUTHORITY:
  • Authorized to certify maintenance work within the scope of their CAAM Part 66 B1 (mechanical) and/or C (base maintenance) license.
  • Issue Certificates of Release to Service (CRS) after maintenance tasks, inspections, or defect rectifications (within the aircraft types and tasks endorsed on their license)
  • Sign off maintenance documents and ensure correct entries in technical logs.
  • Verify that required tools and calibrated equipment are used correctly.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in aircraft maintenance, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or certifying role
  • CAAM Part 66 B 1.1 and Category C Aircraft Maintenance License.
  • Type-rated on ATR-500 / 600 (EASA Part 147 type course preferred)
Special Requirements
  • Must be willing and able to travel to Denmark for mandatory aircraft type training, refresher programs, or supervisory development workshops.
  • Must meet passport and visa eligibility for international travel.
  • Travel may involve extended stays (typically 6-8 weeks depending on training scope)
Skills
  • Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
  • Good knowledge of aviation safety, human factors, and regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals and engineering drawings.
  • Proficient in maintenance IT systems and documentation.
WORKING EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • At least 3 years of certifying experience under CAAM, or other regulator Part 66 License for B1 (Mechanical/Airframe & Powerplant) and/or C (Base Maintenance).
  • Hands-on experience with troubleshooting, defect rectification, and inspection tasks on aircraft, particularly
  • for aircraft types relevant to the operator's fleet.
  • Experience working under a Part 145-approved Maintenance Organization (AMO), with in-depth knowledge of regulatory and safety requirements.
  • Experience with aviation quality assurance processes, audit readiness, and adherence to safety management systems (SMS)
