They are currently looking for an Assistant Finance Manager to be based in Subang Jaya, Selangor. \n\nJob Purpose: \n\nTo manage daily accounting tasks, handle the full set of accounts, and assist with monthly closing and financial reports. Reporting to Finance Manager. \n\nThe role also includes budgeting, checking financial differences, handling tax and audit matters, ensuring compliance with rules, and working with banks, auditors, and other parties. Knowledge of internal controls and banking processes is important. \n\nJob Responsibilities: \n\n
\n\t * To oversee the day-to-day accounting matter and ensure compliance with the company policies and procedures.
\n\t * To handle General Ledger (GL) function and full set of accounts.
\n\t * To prepare and review monthly accounts closing activities, timely preparation and submission of management and statutory reports.
\n\t * To review and to ensure that the monthly financial reports, variance analysis report, management reports, cash-flow forecasts and budget are submitted in timely, accurate and complete manner.
\n\t * To assist in ensuring that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.
\n\t * To co-ordinate and to assist in preparation of audit and tax schedules and responding to queries.
\n\t * To handle corporate and regulatory tax matters.
\n\t * To assist in liaising with bankers, auditors, company secretary, tax consultant, legal advisor and various authorities.
\n\t * Banking administration (for example: contact bankers, opening of bank accounts, update signatories etc)
\n \n\nJob Requirements: \n\n
\n\t * Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or related discipline.
\n\t * Minimum 5 years of related experience, preferably with supervisory skills.
\n\t * Strong analytical, financial and systems skills, including advanced spreadsheet and modeling skills.
\n\t * Ability to meet deadlines.
\n\t * Hands-on experience with accounting software (AutoCount)
\n\t * Familiarity with advanced formulas in MS Excel
\n\t * Ability to accurately process numerical data
\n\t * Team management and negotiation skills
\n\t * Good communication skills in English, Bahasa and Chinese languages.
\n\t * Willing to work in Subang Jaya, Selangor.
