Job Description As a Corporate Leadership Trainee at Commerz Trade Services Sdn Bhd, you will embark on a comprehensive one-year training program that will prepare you for a rewarding career in corporate leadership. This program is designed to expose you to various facets of our organization, allowing you to gain a deep understanding of our business operations. Phase 1: Rotational Assignments (Months 1-6) 1. During the first 6 months, you will participate in a series of rotational assignments across different functions and business units within banking operations. 2. Operations: Dive into banking operations Trade Finance (Issuance & Advising, Document Booking, Document Handling, Guarantee) Payment Due Diligence Market Ops/ Loan Admin Client Verification Team Key Responsibilities (During Rotational Phase): Engage actively in each rotational assignment, contributing to projects and tasks assigned by department leaders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to learn and implement best practices within your chosen area of specialization. Collect and analyze data to make informed recommendations and support decision-making. Prepare regular progress reports and share insights with your program mentor. Phase 2: Deep Dive into Chosen Business Units (Months 7-12) During the second 6 months of the program, you will take a deep dive into your chosen business units gaining in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience. This phase is designed to further develop your expertise and leadership skills in the specific field you have selected. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Master's degree a plus), with a minimum CGPA of 3.5 or its equivalent Hold leadership positions and contributing member at university societies/clubs. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Adaptability and a willingness to learn.
