Description and Requirements Position Overview Deliver standardized frontline IT support services in compliance with corporate IT service management processes (ITIL). Maintaining corporate IT infrastructure and end-user systems while performing basic operational tasks under engineers' guidance, ensure efficient and compliant daily operations. This role also support daily database operations across enterprise databases including Oracle, MySQL, Milvus vector database, and Elasticsearch for search/indexing, supporting monitoring, backup/resotre, patching, performance tuning, and user permission management. This position will have structured training. Core Responsibilities 1. User Support o Resolve employee endpoint issues per SOPs (hardware failures/software installation/account access) o Deploy and configure office equipment (Windows/macOS/mobile devices) o Respond to service desk tickets within 20 minutes (initial response) 2. System Maintenance o Perform basic server health checks (CPU/memory/disk space) o Assist in patch deployment and backup operations (following change management processes) o Maintain IT asset database (devices/licenses/IP addresses) 3. Process Execution o Document and escalate incidents per established procedures o Update knowledge base articles (FAQs/solution repository) o Execute security compliance tasks (password policy enforcement/antivirus scans) 4. Database Operations Support (Oracle / MySQL / Milvus / Elasticsearch) o Independently operate and maintain Oracle, MySQL, Milvus, and Elasticsearch clusters, including advanced monitoring, patching, backup/restore, migration and user permission management. o Help maintain and develop automation scripts related to these database operational tasks (Shell, Python)(Choose one) o Implement and enforce database security policies, perform user permission audits, and ensure compliance with corporate standards o Participate in the compilation of database questionnaires and other related materials(FAQ) Qualifications Mandatory Requirements . Degree in Computer Science/related field . Proficiency in OS maintenance (Windows 10+/macOS) . Understanding of TCP/IP fundamentals (IP/DNS/VLAN) . Ability to strictly follow documented procedures . Foundational knowledge of Oracle, MySQL, Milvus, and Elasticsearch database concepts and operations . Experience with backup and recovery procedures for these systems Preferred Qualifications . Candidates with with Fluent Mandarine speaking are preferred. . ITIL V4 Foundation certification . Service desk or desktop support internship experience . Skillful scripting skills (Batch/Bash) . Practical experience or internships involving Oracle/MySQL/Milvus/Elasticsearch preferred . Relevant certifications (MySQL OCP/) are a plus #NOVAIT
