Job purpose: To work closely with all stakeholders to execute a comprehensive sale plan that meets the business objectives of Affin Group Treasury with the focus to grow the fixed income, fx and derivatives business with the bank's existing clients and explore new potential leads; To promote and to cross sell Bank's products to existing/new clients for all products. To increase fixed income flow and to actively support Affin Islamic as Islamic Principal Dealer. Job responsibilities: Collaborates with relevant internal stakeholders to target and maximize sales effort ensuring client base receive professional, comprehensive, and coordinated sales coverage; Proactively identifies and builds relationships with potential new customers, maintains ongoing client contact initiatives to strengthen relationships and increase volume and revenue for all asset class; Undertake operational treasury management & relevant daily desk reporting, portfolio performance, efficient monitoring in compliance with the Bank's policies, governance and procedures; Evaluates, analyses, and summarizes data and facts with insight and brevity; establishes logical connections; forms sound business recommendations based on analysis; Identifies and participates in industry seminars and conferences; Identifies and aids cross selling opportunities throughout the Bank; Prepare and assist in approvals & submission to committee related to Treasury products; Event planning and marketing strategy for clients; Undertake any task given by Group Treasurer / Head of Fixed Income & Institutional Sales. Job requirements: Bachelor degree and/or professional qualification in a relevant discipline. Strong communication and inter-personal skills. High achiever and highly motivated. Able to work independently, a team player, good communication and presentation skills. Ability to make tough decisions, to change and adapt quickly, while remain focused on customers and executing Treasury business initiatives. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence internal stakeholders in a matrixed work environment for better collaboration. A customer orientation which allows him/her to solicit, acquire, and act on information from customers concerning their current and future needs, issues, and challenges. Specific knowledge of the investment industry (financial instruments, workflows, major players, trends, etc.). Background in Fixed Income and private banking would be an advantage.
