Purpose of Job We are looking for a talent who has banking and credit sales background, preferably one from international trade department. The role will be responsible for the acquisition and placement of Trade Finance, Trade Credit Insurance, Surety Bonds, Insurance Guarantees and Mergers & Acquisitions. They will be required to deal with executive level and business owners of various industries, international and local banks and insurance companies and markets, with a focus on developing and maintaining these key relationships. Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities Assist the Head of Department in developing, implementing, and executing sales strategies and to achieve departmental budget Drive sales and promotion of Trade Credit Insurance to existing clients and new prospects. Develop strategies to address clients' and prospects' insurance needs Acquiring and placement of Trade Finance, Trade Credit Insurance, Surety Bonds, Insurance Guarantees and Mergers & Acquisitions insurance policies Conduct presentations to deliver the insurer's offerings and demonstrate how they align with the needs of the banking industry Ensuring satisfaction and identifying opportunities for existing clients Identify new business opportunities and channels for revenue growth within the banking industry Lead contract negotiations, ensuring favourable terms for both the company and banking Prepare monthly and quarterly budget reports Compliance Ensure compliance with all applicable Company and/or Group policies and procedures Maintain accurate records and correspondence appropriately Knowledge and Experience and Skill Minimum 4 years' working experience in similar or related field, in sales, business development, banking, etc. Possess professional insurance qualification and relevant knowledge of the principles of Insurance, product knowledge and practices Diploma or bachelor's degree in actuarial science, economics, finance, insurance, business management or related disciplines Passion and drive, Capacity to work independently Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin (Cantonese, Mandarin and/or Hokkien) Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
