As a Senior Finance Executive, you will play a crucial role in managing the company's finances. Your responsibilities will include working closely with external accountants to ensure the timely submission of monthly financial statements, maintaining the integrity of the general ledger, and performing regular balance sheet reviews. You will also oversee local tax compliance, manage cash flow, and collaborate with external auditors on the production of Audit Financial Statements. Additionally, you will be tasked with monitoring departmental work to develop more efficient procedures and resource usage. Your role will also involve responsibility for business planning and forecasting processes.
- Work with external accountants in branches to ensure timely and accurate submission of monthly financial statements
- Ensure integrity of general ledger and perform balance sheet review monthly
- Continuously monitor and update cash flow weekly
- Oversee local tax and ensure all tax payments are duly made
- Work with external auditor to make sure the Audit Financial Statement (AFS) produce in a timely manner
- Monitor and analyse department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy
- Be responsible for the country's business planning and forecasting process, ensuring group timetables and outputs are achieved
- Perform ad hoc tasks, job or reporting as required by the Senior Finance Manager
The ideal candidate for the Senior Finance Executive role is a team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You should be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and demonstrate a results-oriented and detail-minded approach to your work. Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as is proficiency in written communication and verbal reasoning. Fluency in English and Mandarin is required, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office. You should have a minimum of five years' experience in a similar role, and hold a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or Accounting. ACCA/CIMA/CPA holders are particularly welcome to apply.
