Role: Finance Assistant Manager About The Company Our client oversees and runs a variety of dining and entertainment venues, including restaurants, lounges, bars, and other refreshment-focused outlets. Beyond its network of establishments, the company is also involved in the production, marketing, and distribution of an extensive selection of food items along with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Responsibilities Record and manage all transactions accurately according to accounting standards and company policies. Make sure the company follows all statutory requirements and submit financial reports to management on time. Prepare monthly group financial reports to ensure they are complete and accurate. Supervise the Billing and Credit team to ensure timely billing and collection. Check and approve supplier payments. Manage cash flow and handle banking matters efficiently. Prepare and manage budgets and forecasts. Work with external auditors to ensure proper accounting practices and smooth year-end audits. Implement and improve accounting systems and processes. Handle local tax reporting, including reviewing tax computations, estimates, and submitting tax returns to meet statutory requirements. Oversee company corporate and legal documents to comply with local laws. Guide, coach, and support career development for team members. Follow all company policies and guidelines. Perform any ad-hoc tasks or duties as required. Requirements University degree and professional qualifications in Finance or Accounting. At least 5 years of experience in Finance/Accounting, including a minimum of 3 years in team management. Strong analytical skills, resourceful, independent, hands-on, and adaptable to change. Skilled in accounting, corporate finance, and financial reporting with strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines. Proficient in IFRS and MFRS standards, and knowledgeable in Malaysia taxation matters. Experienced in group restructuring and financial consolidation. Excellent command of spoken and written English.
