
Project Financial Controller

- Partner with regional finance teams during month-end closing to ensure accuracy and comprehensive understanding of financial data, including POC accounting, P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow
- Assist in preparing monthly business reviews for the region
- Collaborate with project managers to forecast project costs and revenues on a monthly basis
- Proactively contribute to project management efforts, including cost reduction and rationalization initiatives when key performance indicators are at risk
- Review significant project and business cases, contracts, and tenders within the region
- Ensure reliability and continuous improvement of financial IT tools and reporting automation (e.g., ERP systems)
- Work closely with various finance departments-such as legal, accounting, consolidation, and treasury-to facilitate seamless information sharing
- Enforce corporate controlling procedures and promote consistent financial processes and ERP system efficiency across the region
- Support budget and forecast coordination and reporting
- Lead audit processes for multiple countries in the region, focusing on project accounting, revenue recognition, and project-related accruals
- Assist with group-wide audits as needed
- Provide detailed ad hoc financial analyses and reports
- Degree in Business or Accounting with a recognized professional accounting qualification; experience in a Big 4 accounting firm is preferred
- At least 5 years of relevant experience, including exposure to group consolidation within multinational corporations
- Background in internal or external audit, with strong investigative and analytical skills
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS financial reporting standards, particularly IFRS 9, 15, and 16
