Head of Aftersales

• Develop and implement strategic plans for the aftersales department in alignment with the companys overall objectives.

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the service, parts, and accessory departments, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of aftersales services.

• Implement best practices and processes to optimize service quality, efficiency, and profitability.

• Manage inventory levels, procurement, and distribution of parts to support service operations and meet customer demand.

• Provide technical support and expertise to service technicians and advisors to diagnose and resolve complex vehicle issues.

• Develop and manage departmental budgets, forecasts, and financial performance metrics.

• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, manufacturer standards, and safety requirements related to aftersales operations, including warranty claims processing, recalls, and service campaign initiatives.

• A bachelors degree in business administration, automotive engineering, management, or a related field is often required. A masters degree or MBA is an advantage but not mandatory.

• At least 5-10 years experience in aftersales operations within the automotive industry is essential.

• Understanding of vehicle systems, maintenance practices, aftermarket parts, warranty programs, and regulatory requirements is essential.

• Proficiency in financial management, budgeting, and financial analysis is important for overseeing departmental budgets, monitoring expenses, and maximizing revenue streams.

• A solid understanding of automotive technology, diagnostic procedures, and repair processes is important for providing technical support.

• Knowledge of industry regulations, manufacturer standards, and safety requirements related to aftersales operations is necessary to ensure compliance and minimize risk.
