- Developing a business development strategy focused on hunting and financial gain.
- Arranging business development meetings with prospective clients.
- Promote the company's products/services addressing or predicting clients' objectives.
- Developing strategic client relationships for long term business partnership opportunity.
- Develop, Acquire, Retain and Expand 3/4 PL Warehouse & Distribution Services clients to meet and exceed Business Unit HEC Audacious Goal.
- Lead and participate RFP, prepare Due Assessment Template (DAT) and business proposal, margin negotiation, contract review and negotiation ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines.
- Oversee and manage operating departmental budgets and costs according to annual allocation to ensure efficient usage of resources.
- Oversee the business integration process for new clients to ensure alignment to all relevant functions and smooth integration.
- Lead the team to provide effective solutions for clients' requirements related to ad hoc business opportunity and any escalated issues.
- Initiate and drive continuous improvements of business development processes in collaboration with across functional team in terms of efficiency and quality services.
- Develop strategic client relationships for effective planning and business growth.
- Partner with internal DKSH departments and Business Lines to ensure alignment of clients' business requirements and effective implementation of business plans.
- Liaison with regional BD team and/or other country for client movement and exchange of best practice sharing.
- Demonstrate strong understanding of clients' industry/business/products especially for Medical Devices.
- Demonstrate relevant knowledge and experience in warehousing & distribution/ SCM/ medical devices related industry.
- Demonstrate exceptional client management and communication skills.
- Proven senior level of relationship building.
- Proven experience in working in multicultural global teams.
- Demonstrate appreciation and respect for cultural sensitivities especially in cross-country/-cultural interactions.
- Demonstrate fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
- Minimum three to five years' experience in a similar role.
- Minimum two years' experience in a managerial capacity.
