Where do you fit in As a Mechanical planner, you will plan and execute turnaround and major maintenance activities safely, efficiently, and by applicable premises, procedures, approved work processes, and standards. What's the role Nurture the SMDS culture of lead with courage, make it happen and make it better, and drive the site to best-in-class performance as the world's leading gas-to-liquids specialties facility. Major maintenance and turnaround planning delivery with quality from the end-end. This includes ensuring the task list/job method statements are relevant and updated for replication in future activities. Work closely with other disciplines and contract workforce to prepare, plan, and execute turnaround and other major maintenance activities successfully. Assist with work scoping and scope challenge for identified turnaround scope of work. Ensure that materials and equipment specifications are correctly specified before raising Purchase Requisition and that all required materials purchased are on-site based on the agreed timeline. Works with schedulers to establish an optimized schedule to efficiently execute the scope of work. Function as Mechanical Field Coordinator during execution where you will direct field activities, solve, or remove blockers and is the first line of contact with contractors and Turnaround Organization Responsible for delivering site execution safely, with quality, and adherence to schedule. Key Challenges: Prepare, plan, optimize, and execute complex turnarounds well and deliver against approved premises and schedule. Drive successful delivery of major maintenance and turnaround through continuous improvement and learning while effectively collaborating with key departments/disciplines. What do we need from you Diploma or bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with 5+ years of onshore oil and gas experience in major Turnaround planning and execution. Working knowledge of piping specs, static drawing, and P&ID diagrams. Skill level of competence in Turnaround job estimating planning, scheduling, and field execution. Strong leadership skills and team player. Willingly offer and accept challenges and feedback on job deliverables. Able to perform work with little or no supervisor direction. Minimum 2 years of SAP/GSAP work order planning experience. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
