Job Summary: We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Specialist to spearhead growth initiatives and strengthen our market presence. This role is perfect for someone with experience at a generalist or managerial level who can identify opportunities, nurture client relationships, and contribute to long-term business success. Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company growth objectives. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, collaborations, and client acquisitions. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, agency partners, and social platforms to expand the company's network. Create customised proposals and business pitches to address client needs and objectives effectively. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for growth. Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, creative, and production, to ensure seamless execution of client campaigns. Manage business development pipelines, track leads, and ensure timely follow-ups to close deals. Analyse and monitor business development metrics, providing insights and recommendations to improve performance. Negotiate and finalise contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial terms for both the company and clients. Mentor junior team members and provide guidance to enhance their business development skills. Requirements: 2-5 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition, preferably within the advertising, media, or digital content industry. Demonstrated ability to identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities. Strong understanding of business growth strategies, partnership development, and revenue generation. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with a client-focused approach. Analytical skills to conduct market research, evaluate trends, and translate insights into actionable business strategies. Experience in preparing and delivering compelling business proposals and presentations to clients. Proven ability to manage and grow pipelines, track key performance metrics, and achieve or exceed business development targets. Knowledge of social media platforms and trends, particularly TikTok, is advantageous. Highly self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment. Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively.
