- Responsible for the strategy definition, strategy execution, agency servicing and business performance of channels i.e. Agencies – all classes.
- Enabling our channels i.e. Agencies to provide valuable service and continuously enhance customer relationship.
- Build customer loyalty aligned with our QBE value proposition.
- This role has P&L responsibility for the channel i.e. Agency, which includes all associated tasks and activities for strategy, growth, profitability, business planning, performance management, people management etc.
- Ensure compliance with Insurance Authority’s regulations & requirements.
- Support best practice and continuous improvement in relation to training, compliance, and practice management in conjunction with internal stakeholders.
- Ensure all personal accreditation levels and compliance requirements are adhered to.
- Underwrite new business and renewals for selected product(s), providing quotes in a timely and professional manner in line with agreed service standards.
- Support the local compliance requirements.
- Establish and develop relationships and promote company image with key clients.
- Monitor client and market requirements and client feedback by conducting client calls / visits.
- Provide administrative support to the Distribution Team.
- Learn about new products and understand commission structures for each product in order to enhance the relationships with clients.
- Provide product expertise to intermediaries on the range of products offered.
- Monitor and review one’s own performance against individual sales targets.
- Key Performance Indicator on Agents development and management - Increase distribution force, Adoption % of digital technology by agents, Agents engagement and performance management including motivate top agents and PIP poor agents, Working with internal stakeholders to maintain service and achieve high NPS.
- Key Performance Indicator on Growth & Profitability - GWP and New business % year-on-year growth, Working with underwriting team to achieve targeted NCOR % in Agents, Manage and improve Agents debtors and commission ratio.
- At least 7 years' relevant work experience in agency service and business development at supervisory level.
- Pro-active, self-motivated and a good team player.
- Customer-oriented with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Ability to deliver on agreed business targets.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Sound insurance product knowledge and underwriting skills.
