- Drive enterprise adoption of GitHub Copilot, Copilot Chat, and next-gen agentic AI tools that support refactoring, documentation, code review, and complex workflows
- Define best practices for agent orchestration-covering prompting standards, goal assignment, validation, and fallback strategies
- Establish AI usage policies, secure defaults, and governance frameworks, particularly for semi- or fully autonomous agents in development environments
- Collaborate with security and governance teams to identify and mitigate risks around agentic behavior, data sensitivity, and unauthorized actions
- Design and maintain an AI Integration Framework to embed AI across developer workflows (GitHub, Jira, IDEs, testing, CI/CD pipelines)
- Partner with DevOps/DevSecOps to enable AI in CI/CD-e.g., automated test generation, impact analysis, and change intelligence
- Ensure safe agent operation in toolchains via version control, sandboxing, human-in-the-loop approvals, and monitoring mechanisms
- Assess AI's impact on productivity and code quality using telemetry, surveys, and developer feedback
- Track KPIs such as PR cycle time, AI code reuse, adoption vs. rejection of suggestions, and post-release error rates
- Enhance code consistency and coverage with AI-driven linters, analyzers, and automated refactoring
- Develop onboarding guides, playbooks, and live workshops to help developers collaborate effectively with agentic tools
- Build a practice community around AI-enabled development, fostering champions, feedback loops, and knowledge sharing
- Work with DevRel and HR to frame AI adoption as an opportunity for upskilling rather than replacement
- Define AI usage guidelines for both modern (TypeScript, Python, Java, Go) and legacy stacks (Java 8, .NET Framework, COBOL)
- Recommend AI-assisted approaches for documentation, test generation, code search, and migration in older systems
- Implement feedback loops and retraining to continuously improve agent performance
- Maintain transparency by logging agent actions for auditing, reproducibility, and incident response
- Align adoption with ethical AI principles, governance models, and responsible use standards
- Coordinate with platform and compliance teams on data residency, PII handling, and model control in agent-enabled environments
- A degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Min. 5 years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or developer productivity enablement
- Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot and at least one agentic AI platform or intelligent coding assistant
- Proficient with modern IDEs, CI/CD pipelines, Jira/testing platforms, and DevSecOps tools
- Solid knowledge of secure development practices, the software development lifecycle (SDLC), and enterprise compliance environments
- Strong interest in human-AI collaboration, developer productivity, and responsible AI adoption
- Familiarity with agent orchestration frameworks such as AutoGen, CrewAI, or LangChain
- Certifications in AI/ML or Responsible AI practices
- Experience using developer analytics platforms (e.g., LinearB, DXPR, GitHub Insights)
- Knowledge of advanced prompting methods and prompt engineering frameworks
