About the job AsiaPay , a leading digital payment service provider in Asia, is seeking a Sales and Business Development Officer (Hunter Role) to help expand our market reach and grow adoption of our innovative payment solutions across Malaysia and the region. The Sales and Business Development Officer (Hunter Role ) will aggressively seek out and win new business in the retail and fintech sectors. This is a front-line, new acquisition role ideal for someone who thrives on prospecting, pitching, and closing deals in a competitive market. Key Responsibilities: Proactively identify and pursue new merchant acquisition opportunities across retail, e-commerce, and service sectors. Conduct cold calls, in-person visits, virtual meetings, and presentations to promote AsiaPay's digital payment solutions. Understand client needs and recommend suitable products Close new merchant deals and hand over for onboarding. Collaborate on campaigns and content that support lead generation in target industries. Represent AsiaPay at events, expos, and networking functions to build brand awareness and gather leads. Coordinate with marketing and product teams to localize sales materials and pitch decks. Requirements: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields. 1-2 years of experience in sales, business development , or merchant acquisition , ideally in fintech, SaaS, or retail tech. Strong cold-calling, negotiation, and closing skills - a true hunter mentality. Knowledge of Malaysia's digital payment landscape is highly preferred. Fluent English Self-motivated, energetic, target-driven, and comfortable working under pressure.
