- Demonstrated experience in all employee life cycle phases, including recruiting and staffing, training and development, performance management, benefits and compensation, and succession planning
- Prepare new hire paperwork and assist with new hire orientations and HR processes for Malaysia-based hires
- Support HR initiatives are business-driven and in synergy with the organization’s operating goals and strategic direction
- Support international employee benefits
- Participate in the development and implementation of international policies and procedures
- Support the internal and external HR website and HR Newsletter
- Additional responsibilities as assigned by manager
- Document paper trail for SOX and other compliance requirements
- Full cycle of Malaysia recruiting and sourcing
- Work closely with the hiring managers to gain a thorough understanding of the needs of the position and develop/execute effective recruitment plans for each requisition
- Source candidates via job postings, social networking resources, and creative sourcing techniques
- Prepare and procure approvals for job descriptions, personnel requisitions and offers. Coordinate with HR team to procure job leveling and compensation data
- Maintain applicant tracking data base
- Manage external and internal job postings
- Screen resumes and candidates.
- Set up/perform phone screens and coordinate interviews
- Perform reference checks and process background checks
- Actively participate in offer process from pre-close to offer acceptance
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Discipline or equivalent
- 2-3 years of combined recruiting and general HR experience in a technical environment, preferably in the semiconductor industry
- Strong sourcing skills and ability to cold call passive candidates
- Good organizational skills with ability to multi-task and keen attention to detail
- Strong understanding of general business and HR principles and processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in written and spoken local language (Malay) and English
- Able to travel to internationally as required
- Excellent knowledge of Malaysia HR laws and regulations, labor law and compliance
- Experience supporting HR infrastructure, programs, and processes
- Able to work independently and as a team member
