- Ensure sales of Industrial Steam Turbines in the assigned territory by building long-term and trusted business relationship with customers, especially the key decision makers and key strategic partners.
- Responsible for direct customer engagement, managing proposal works and obtaining management approvals (LoA's).
- Owning the discussions throughout the bidding phase including clarifications, negotiations until contract closure
- Key Player and taking forward the ISP Growth Initiatives (FPSO, Extended scope, WtE, Replacement, SST 300 / 200 PD)
- Ensure that the Technical and Commercial proposals meet SE standards for quality, completeness, and timeliness in response to client inquiries.
- In-charge to build the project pipeline and develop the rolling forecast process for the responsible countries in due consultation with the Local/ Field Sales (New Org Code - Hub Sales).
- Timely & accurately update the data in the Sales Force and ensure all the processes (like LOA's approvals) are in place as per the defined guidelines.
- Responsible for creating the conceptual solutions, develop unique selling propositions & implement the sales strategies
- Handle cross functional team to ensure project success (like Cost Outs, Bench Marking, Vendor Development, Optimized solutions) within stipulated times.
- Substitute and Support the Proposal community in case of Manpower constraints in order to fulfill the customers' expectations and improve customer intimacy.
- Tertiary qualification (Post-Graduation) in Engineering.
- Proficiency in written and oral English
- Minimum 6 years experience in Power generation business field (i.e., commercial, project management, proposals, application or erection and commissioning field), contract negotiations (taking care of power industry major products preferred - i.e., Steam Turbines, Boilers, Compressor, pumps, heat exchangers, construction
- Advanced understanding of Thermal Cycle Process and Process calculations will bring in significant advantage.
- Setting high standards and monitoring progress towards goals; tenaciously working to meet or exceed goals; defining success by goal achievement and continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of economic, market and industry trends to understand and improve individual and/or organizational levers (systems, processes, departments, functions) that drive sustainable profitable growth;"
- Basic understanding of contract as well as commercial T&Cs to be able to negotiate with customers at multiple levels
- Capable of working in a multinational and multicultural team. And Regional working experience is a strong asset.
