Also initiating continuous improvement to guarantee and improve the quality of Ranpak products and services. 2.0 REPORTING The Quality Manager reports to Senior Quality Manager Global and in matrix to the Managing Director, APAC. 3.0 RESPONSIBILITIES Leading the quality department of Ranpak Malaysia. Quality Control system. End responsible for the overall quality within Ranpak Malaysia. Member of the Ranpak Staff. Have a close and critical but cooperative relationship with Operations. Main responsible and Management Representative for the QMS according ISO9001 and HSE. Drive and stimulate continuous improvement processes. Define quality requirements of paper and machines. 4.0 MAIN TASKS Budget owner of quality department. Management review reporting. Continuously improve quality awareness within Ranpak Malaysia. Define, stimulate and ensure a strategic quality approach within all Ranpak processes. Initiate and maintain Corrective And Preventive Action (CAPA) system. Initiate and maintain KPI system. Coordinate Customer Complaint system. Initiate and maintain Internal and External audit system. Develop and maintain material and product specifications. Approval paper products and converters. Develop and maintain paper knowledge. Open 2-way communication with Ranpak Corp. Responsible to ensure that documents and records created under the Quality System and HSE comply with all applicable requirements. Lead quality improvement projects within the Quality Management System by monitoring and reviewing the projects progress and establishing strategy to ensure on-time project completion, and all objectives are met within the set time frame. Develop training materials and applicable test and guides and provide training and guidance to subordinates. Provide ongoing feedback to subordinates to ensure they develop the necessary skills and competencies required. Manage resources, recruitment, and deploying resources as required. Lead and facilitate activities related to customer and external audits (including regulatory and third party) Any other tasks assigned by superior. 5.0 PROFILE Bachelor degree or equal experience. At least 5 year experience as Quality Manager and HSE in a production environment. Proven knowledge of ISO9001 quality management system. Convincing and professional towards customers, suppliers and colleagues Independent worker but also team player. Way of thinking aimed at problem solving. Analytical and observant. Hands on attitude. Must be able to communicate (read, write, speak) in English and Bahasa Malaysia a plus Good knowledge in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of paper is preferred.
