The Business Development Manager will play a key role in driving sales growth and building strong relationships within the industrial/manufacturing sector. This position requires a proactive approach to identifying new business opportunities and delivering solutions that meet client needs.Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategies to achieve significant sales growth in the Malaysian semiconductor market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local accounts, distributors, and new customers.
  • Act as the go-to market expert, staying updated on industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activity.
  • Support technology discussions with customers, including product training, reviews, and new solution introductions.
  • Collaborate closely with regional and key account managers to ensure seamless customer support.
  • Identify new market opportunities and ecosystems to expand the company's reach.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation and reports to support business goals.
High-growth industry exposureOpportunity to innovateA successful Business Development Manager should have:
  • A degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field (BS/MS preferred).
  • 5-10 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing, ideally within technology or process industries.
  • Strong knowledge of semiconductor, PV, or instrumentation markets is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels.
  • A proactive and adaptable mindset, comfortable working across cultures and dynamic environments.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
