- Manage suppliers through sourcing, selection, negotiation, contracting, and registration, while ensuring quotations meet both technical and commercial standards.
- Fulfill purchasing needs through demand planning, order monitoring, and close coordination with logistics to ensure timely delivery; support new product development by securing required materials.
- Maintain accurate item and vendor records in SAP and provide reports; review inventory levels and recommend stock adjustments.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and manage supplier risks by sourcing alternatives, negotiating better terms, and improving payment conditions.
- Conduct regular supplier performance reviews to ensure competitiveness and quality, and support ISO audits and annual evaluations.
- Participate in ad-hoc tasks and improvement or cost-saving projects as assigned by management.
- Holds a degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
- Has 2-5 years of relevant experience, ideally in a technical or project-based procurement environment.
- Strong in both negotiation and communication, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- Familiarity with technical specifications and engineering drawings is an advantage.
- Able to work independently, self-driven, and possesses a proactive and responsible attitude.
- Mandarin proficiency is preferred for communication with Mandarin-speaking suppliers.
- Experienced with SAP and highly skilled in MS Excel for data handling and analysis.
