Job Purpose: This role is a key leadership role responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the logistics activities. This includes managing transportation, distribution, inventory and ensuring the smooth flow of goods through the supply chain. This role plays a pivotal role in optimizing processes and driving operational efficiency Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of supervisors, coordinators, and planners. Conduct regular team meetings, performance evaluations and training sessions. Develop and implement strategic plans for logistic and supply chain opns. Collaborate with other departments to ensure the integration of logistics activities with overall business operations. Optimize transportation routes to ensure cost-effective and timely deliveries. Coordinate activities of warehouse and implement best practices in inventory management, order fulfilment and warehouse operations. Monitor and optimize the efficiency of distribution processes. Continuously evaluate and improve logistics processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Implement technology and automation to enhance operational processes. Identify and implement best practices in logistics management. Implement quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and condition of received and shipped goods. Develop and enforce quality assurance standards. Monitor KPI and metrics and report on operational performance to senior management. Develop and manage budgets for logistics operations. Optimize costs while maintaining operational excellence. Requirements: Bachelor degree or higher in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business or a related field. Minimum 5 years working experience in Logistics field. Computer literate in Microsoft Office application. Knowledge in SAP & IBP system Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Familiarity with transportation management system and logistics technology Proficient in using logistics management software.
