About the Job This role focuses on overseeing regulatory assessments, identify and mitigate risks and ensure compliance with internal policies, The role involves collaborating with key stakeholders, conducting investigations and providing guidance on corrective actions.. Key responsibilities: Assess regulatory gaps and ensure smooth implementation of policies. Collaborate with business, legal and compliance teams to strengthen risk management. Recommend and implement corrective measures for non compliance. Identify potential risks in processes and provide solutions. Investigate incidents, track root causes and ensure corrective actions are completed. Monitor and validate action plans from assessments and regulatory issues. Provide guidance to the operations on compliance matters. Lead the teams of DOO and DRO under Operations in ensuring adherence to regulations. Conduct independent reviews and recommend improvements. Establish a service recovery framework for unmet customer expectations. Provide regular updates to management on compliance progress. We are looking for people who Degree or higher qualification in a related discipline. Minimum of 5 years' experience in a risk management and compliance-related role. Audit experience in financial services or insurance is an advantage. Strong analytical and problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to take responsibility and work independently or in a team. Strong investigative skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Visio. High level of integrity and a positive attitude towards work accountability. Knowledge of process improvement, industry trends and Takaful is an advantage.
