Location: Shah Alam, SelangorAbout the JobAs part of a global leader in material handling and warehouse automation, the Sales Consultant plays a pivotal role in identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities. You will focus on promoting intralogistics solutions, including warehouse equipment, automation systems, and smart logistics platforms, by understanding customer needs and offering tailored proposals. This role requires a strong mix of commercial acumen and technical understanding of warehouse and logistics operations.Job Responsibilities
- Identify and engage with potential customers in manufacturing, logistics, and e-commerce sectors.
- Understand client pain points, operational bottlenecks, and propose suitable warehouse automation or equipment solutions.
- Work closely with the Presales Consultant and engineering teams to develop customized proposals and quotations.
- Lead end-to-end sales processes including prospecting, presentations, negotiations, and contract closing.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
- Represent the company in trade shows, industry forums, and client site visits.
- Diploma/Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
- 3-6 years of sales experience, preferably in industrial equipment, automation, or warehousing solutions.
- Proven track record in B2B sales or solution selling.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment (e.g., racking, forklifts, conveyors).
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in English; Mandarin is a bonus.
- Own transportation and willing to travel across Malaysia for client meetings.
