Overview: The Head of Talent Acquisition, Culture & Engagement is a senior leadership position responsible for shaping and delivering the people strategy across three core focus areas: attracting top talent, fostering a strong organisational culture, and enhancing employee engagement. This role is pivotal in developing and executing integrated strategies to secure exceptional talent, build a values-driven, high-performance culture, and enhance employee satisfaction throughout the entire employee lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: a) Talent Acquisition Strategy & Delivery a) Talent Acquisition Strategy & Delivery Design and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy for both frontline (retail) and support functions (corporate/distribution centres), aligned with organisational goals. Lead and continuously improve recruitment processes to ensure efficiency, inclusivity, and the attraction of high-calibre candidates. Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to Talent Acquisition Managers overseeing recruitment for various functions. Leverage analytics and market insights to drive informed hiring decisions, reduce time-to-hire, and enhance candidate experience. Partner with hiring managers to forecast talent needs and support proactive workforce planning. Promote innovative sourcing techniques including talent pipelining, social media outreach, employee referrals, and external partnerships. b) Culture & Engagement Act as a key advocate for organisational values, embedding them into all talent and people initiatives. Lead the design and delivery of employee engagement programs that improve morale, motivation, and retention. c) Process Optimisation & Stakeholder Engagement Establish best practices in recruitment, including robust candidate assessment methods, structured interviews, and seamless onboarding processes. Drive enhancements in recruitment technology, such as Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other digital tools, to improve operational effectiveness. Build strong partnerships with senior leaders, department heads, and external agencies to ensure hiring strategies align with business needs. Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) as a foundational element of talent attraction and engagement. Provide actionable reporting and insights on recruitment performance, market trends, and areas for improvement. Requirements Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Minimum of 8 years of experience in talent acquisition, including at least 3 years in a leadership capacity. Prior experience in retail recruitment is a strong advantage. Demonstrated expertise in employer branding and recruitment marketing strategies. Strong stakeholder management skills with a proven ability to lead, influence, and drive change. Strategic thinker with solid understanding of workforce planning, hiring compliance, and labour regulations. Exceptional communication, creativity, and project management abilities.
