Client Background: MNC companyIndustry : ManufacturingLocation: Senai,JohorHeadcount: 1Position Title : Materials ManagerTenure: PermanentRemuneration : RM10,000 - RM15,000Responsibilities· Global Service Complaints, ATF, and OTS failure analysis for source location items with root cause problem solving and corrective action· Site execution to plan compliance, site and global warehouse Oracle planning, intracompany replenishment planning and forecast review· Site Manufacturing Variance monthly review and corrective actions· Site annual Purchase Parts standard cost review and settings· Site Purchase Price Variance (PPV) monthly reporting, review, and corrective actions· Development of and execution of schedules which meet divisional inventory goals and customer service levels.· Execution of engineering changes and new product introductions in an expeditious manner to meet site program schedules.· Staff all materials function departments with people who will contribute substantially to the achievement of divisional goals; coach and develop key people for advancement into positions of increasing responsibility.· Plans and manages on export business. Monitors and controls the import and export under bounded handbook. Monitors and manages the use of duty free equipment in line with the Customs regulations.· Assurance that inventory accuracy is maintained at 98% or better and assure the integrity of all materials records and transactions.Requirement· Interacts frequently with team and functional peers.· Interaction requires the ability to gain cooperation of others, conducting presentations of technical information concerning specific projects, schedules, etc.· Understanding of Lean principles and their application in the materials functions· Safety: knowledge of applicable OSHA safety requirements for their site and functions· Champion for Lean Sigma cultureSystems knowledge· Oracle skills requiredo APS, EBS, Demantra· Microsoft Office proficiencyo Advanced Excel abilities (pivot tables, slicers, charting)Dashboard Responsibilities· Cost: Global Inventory Turns· Service: Global ATF / OTS· Quality: Global service complaints (number & response time)Planning· Oracle: Global sku ATP, POQ, MOQ· Resource settings for capacity planning, etc.Sourcing· Execute plan with approved suppliers using Shared Services buyersMake· Global: Daily production scheduling and execution to planDeliver· Site: Receiving, warehousing, shipping (to Panduit warehouse or 3rd party)Sub Specialization : Supply Chain & Logistics;Purchasing / Buyer
