Role Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced AVP / VP, Investment to support strategic investment and capital management initiatives. This role will play a critical part in identifying new opportunities, evaluating and executing real estate transactions, and supporting the business's long-term growth and capital efficiency objectives. Key Responsibilities Conduct market and industry research to inform investment and divestment strategies aligned with business objectives. Support strategic planning and budget setting for the investment portfolio. Originate, evaluate, and pursue new business and revenue opportunities. Contribute to the execution of investment, divestment, and acquisition strategies. Review financial models, assess risks, and support decision-making on capital structures. Lead or support full transaction lifecycle including due diligence, negotiation, structuring, financing, and closing. Coordinate with legal teams on documentation and ensure compliance throughout transactions. Engage with regulatory bodies and key stakeholders to secure necessary approvals. Ensure smooth transition of completed deals to asset management and operations. Implement internal controls and drive process improvements in line with governance standards. Analyze market trends and capital cost dynamics to support effective capital allocation. Develop and implement capital management plans with a focus on efficiency and risk mitigation. Evaluate and structure real estate transactions, including managing capital funding via debt or equity. Represent the company in fundraising activities and investor engagements Requirements Bachelor's degree in business, Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or a related field. CFA qualification is an advantage. Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in real estate investment or related functions. Strong understanding of property markets, investment evaluation, and development processes. Proficiency in financial modeling, business planning, and risk analysis. Strong commercial acumen with a passion for real estate. Solid negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills. High proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with strong writing and presentation capabilities. Able to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and work independently. Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence across teams. Willingness to travel as required. Show more Show less
